Welcome to the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (03/02/1930 - 03/02/2024)

As we know, the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam (3/2/1930) marked a significant turning point in the revolutionary history of the Vietnamese people, as well as the history of the development of the civilized, cultured, and heroic Vietnamese nation.

In 1911, the patriotic young man Nguyen Tat Thanh set out to find a new path for the national salvation cause, striving for national independence. After many years of activities abroad, he persistently researched, studied, creatively applied and step by step propagated Marxist-Leninist ideology to Vietnam, diligently preparing the necessary conditions for the establishment of a genuine revolutionary party.

On February 3, 1930, under the leadership of Nguyen Ai Quoc, the Conference unifying communist organizations in our country was held in the Cuu Long Peninsula, Hong Kong (China), deciding to unite communist organizations in our country into a single Party, named the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Throughout the past 94 years, the Party has led our people through two extraordinary resistance wars, achieving national independence, building a developed Vietnam with an increasingly high position on the international stage. As stated by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong: "Our country has never had such potential, position, and international prestige as today." From a food-deficient country, it has become a leading global food exporter, from a technology-lagging region to being at the forefront of 5G technology. In the context of global economic recession, the correctness and foresight of the Party and the State have helped our country become a shining light in the world economy.

In 2021, the glorious success of the 13th Party Congress outlined the development roadmap for the country in the new decade, with the goal of making our country a developed nation, standing shoulder to shoulder with major powers around the world, as President Ho Chi Minh always desired.

The youth of UIT, in particular, and the Vietnamese youth in general, always believe in the leadership of the Party, strive to learn and train, and build a rich, powerful, democratic, just, and civilized Vietnam.
